Embark on a journey of efficiency and reliability with our recent ethylene compressor replacement project (2020-2022). As a seasoned chemical engineer, I spearheaded this endeavor, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance every step of the way.

The C2 Replacement Project marked a pivotal moment in our commitment to enhancing operations within the local industry. At the forefront of this initiative was the optimization of piping hydraulics. From Antisurge to Quench, Hot Gas Bypass to DryGas Seal systems, I meticulously engineered and reviewed each component to guarantee optimal functionality and safety.

Central to the success of the project was the comprehensive preparation of a line list, detailing every component and connection within the system. This important approach laid the foundation for seamless implementation and operation.

In parallel, I prepared instrument spec-sheets for critical components such as control valves, pressure and temperature indicators (PITs and TITs), and flow gauges (FGs). Each spec-sheet was tailored to meet the unique requirements of the project, ensuring precise control and monitoring capabilities.

Additionally, I led the evaluation, selection, and calculation of Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. By accurately analyzing operating conditions and system parameters, we selected PSVs that provided optimal protection while minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
